For the fall 2024 season, RIVES unveils a tailor-made wardrobe, freely inspired by the emblematic codes of “mafia” style.
Historically linked to fashion, the mafia, magnified by the cinema, has been given a sartorial aura, at once sophisticated and subtly daring, immortalized in the collective imagination.
This theme offers us an ideal creative playground, blending different influences: the Chicago Mafia of the ’30s, with its famous stripes and wide, strapless Trousers; the Italian Mafia of the ’70s, characterized by pronounced shoulders and arrow collars with wide lapels, worked in precious, slightly shiny fabrics like silk; and finally, the influence of the New York-Italian Mafia, with the addition of short jackets and bombers.
So we selected a cast of charismatic customers and friends with varied personalities and physiques, to illustrate the added value of Tailor-made. Each piece, made specifically for its wearer, enhances their silhouette and personality. This is what we strive to achieve every day with our customers, accompanying them in their quest for elegance.
This collection marks the return of assertive sartorialism, restoring the suit’s status and nobility. It moves away from the adulescent style, with sharper cuts, wider collar lapels, longer jackets, etc., giving the wearer poise and confidence.
